Nearing the end of winter sports, FHC held its quarterly pep assembly in the large gym on Feb. 20. The assembly consisted of challenges between varsity sports players, dance battles, a scrimmage between teachers and students, as well as an acknowledgement of high-achieving students.
“I was really excited to receive that award because I know there are so many smart people in band, there’s geniuses in there. So to be on the same level as them was really exciting for me,” Belter said.
It’s essential to recognize the achievements of students at FHC, which provides them with the motivation to continue striving for excellence.
