The first game of the season for girls varsity soccer was on March 20 against Fort Zumwalt South. This was an intense game, with no goals till the last 10 min of the game. The score was 1-0 with Central taking home a loss, but it served as a learning experience for the girls. Senior Olivia Osborn explains how this game was a great thing for the girls starting off so they can make improvements going forward.Â
“I think it was a good learning experience. It shifted our mindsets to make us want to play better for upcoming games” Osborn said.
The next girls varsity soccer game will be on April 2 against Liberty at Francis Howell Central.
