Kyle Behlman and sophomore Aristen Malone celebrate, high-fiving each other. After winning a point at the match on April 16, Behlman and Malone encouraged one another to keep trying.

The tennis team played against Timberland High school on April 16. The team took home a win. Although, they had a challenge in the beginning. Senior Jacob Roche gives his thoughts on the rocky start they had.

 

“We went down 20 points and then we won 3 in a row…” said Roche. “When you start down, you get in your head a little, so you gotta get yourself back up”.

 

The team will continue on to GAC’s April 26-29.

Bat an Eye
Coming in with full speed and high jumps as he ran through the hurdle with form and precision, sophomore Christopher Herrera-Rodriguez on March 25 had kept up with his opponent securing top 3 in his 300 meter hurdle race. As he had prepared before the event took place aiding him in the process.
