As the warmer weather rolls in, spring sports are now in full swing. Boys tennis participated in a match on March 20 against Fort Zumwalt East. Both the varsity and JV teams played long back-and-forth games against East. The courts were filled with players giving it their all to earn points and win their matches. The matches are played in singles and doubles, yet both game styles remain difficult in their own way, creating exciting matches to watch all over the court. Freshman Tejas Marathe is excited to start his first season at FHC playing on the tennis team.
“I was looking forward to being on the tennis team, and I feel like the coaches and players are really nice and supportive,” Marathe says.
The boys’ next match is April 21 at 3:30 pm versus Liberty.
