Spartans remain undefeated
The Spartans added another game to their undefeated streak after a 3-2 victory over Fort Zumwalt West, who is one of their biggest competitors, according to junior Chad Edgecomb. The first and third goals were scored by junior Kyle Novak, with the third goal scored on an empty net. The second goal was scored by senior Adam Otten.
“I think we were all pretty nervous going into that game because we didn’t know how good they would be,” said Edgecomb. “Plus we were missing three of our best players.”
The boys’ next game is tonight against Wentzville Holt at the St. Peters Rec-Plex at 6:45 p.m.
