Spartans rule the rink
Spartan hockey boys have not ceased to rule the rink this year. The team remains undefeated with a record of 10-0, even while continuing to deal with players who play on other teams and cannot come to all of the games.
Last Friday’s game against Duchesne was a true show of the team’s talent with a final score of 12-1.
“We had a rough start. Then after we scored one, we just kept scoring goals,” said junior Edward Olson.
The team’s next game is Friday night at 8 p.m. against Christian Brother’s College at Affton Ice Rink, and according to Olson, it will be tough due to so many of his teammates having to play in a different game that night.
“We try to go out and play the best we can, but this Friday we’re going to be missing a lot of guys,” said Olson. “We’re just going to go out there and play like it’s a normal game and see what happens.”
