The girls basketball team won its game last Thursday against North County Tech High School. The girls’ record is now 12 to 5. The girls’ next game is Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 6:30 p.m. at home. The girls’ next varsity game is against Holt and has been rescheduled to this Friday, Jan. 28 at 7:00 p.m. in Francis Howell Central gymnasium.

“We had been playing well before the snow days, and hopefully we will be able to come back playing well after this break,” said Coach Brian Ricker.

With the snow days, sports games were cancelled as well as practice, and games had to be rescheduled.

“[We] couldn’t practice any of the snow days, but we were able to on Saturday,” said Coach Ricker. “That was the only preparation we had against a really good team, Hazelwood West.”
