The girls track team concluded another great meet last night at the St. Charles West Invitational track meet, according to Coach Travis Wilson.

“Overall, many of the athletes improved their times, heights and distances, but finished just outside the medals,” said Coach Wilson.

There were many girls who performed particularly well, which is what aided the girls track team in reaching third place out of nine teams.

“It was actually the personal goal of our girls team to be in the top three at a track meet, and last night, we achieved that,” senior Allision Berck said. “We were all very excited and proud.”

Berck usually runs sprints, but last night, the coaches switched it up.

“Personally, it was both exciting and nerve-wracking. I ran with the distance girls, which was a little intimidating, but we placed very well,” said Berck.
