Ultimate Frisbee gets rained out
Due to two rain cancellations on Sunday, the Ultimate Frisbee team will have less game time to prepare them for the state tournament. The games Sunday were the team’s last chance to have game practice to prepare them for the tournament on May 5-6.
“We will be going into the state tournament without any game time to prepare us for the state tournament,” sophomore player Jonah Greco said.
Nonetheless, the frisbee team is expected to do well at state. The team is seated fifth out of 18 teams in their league and has shown strong performances in their past games. According to Greco, the team has the potential to be a top contender in the state tournament.
“I feel like we are a contender to win it all,” Greco said. “If not, I hope we can put out a solid performance and make a good run.”
