Challenging Game Against Howell
The boys soccer team was anticipating their challenging match against Howell on Saturday, Oct. 19. The Spartans scored the first goal early on, but the Vikings tied the game with a penalty kick in the second half. In the end, Howell won with a score of 2-1. Even through the loss, Connor Phillips continues to encourage his teammates to keep them motivated for the rest of their season.
With the season coming to an end, “We need to work together,” Phillips says, “And have a better mentality going forward”.
The Spartans will compete against Francis Howell North on Oct. 24 at North.
