Shooting for Victory
The boys of the CT soccer team played a hard game against Fort Zumwalt West as heavy wind fought them on Monday, Oct. 21. With an incredible defence, the Spartans managed to keep the opponents away from their goal completely. Freshman Adam Tucker scored the first goal, leading the way for the Spartans to win with a score of 3-0. Coach Yocum expressed his pride in the boys at the end of the game.
“We’ve played these guys before, so we were able to take some chances we don’t usually take. I think from game one to now,” Coach Yocum said, “our guys have really improved.”
The boys played their last game of the season on Wednesday, Oct. 23, but are looking forward to the next season and planning on playing hard.
