The girls lacrosse team begins their preseason workouts as the winter sports teams head into their regular seasons. Although spring sports do not start for another four months, the preparation will increase the team’s athleticism and strength for when the season comes around. JV head coach Jeremy Winingham explains the purpose of beginning workouts in November.

“During the season, you don’t really have the opportunity to make those strength and agility improvements because we’re focusing more on lacrosse-specific skills,” says Winingham. “All the stuff that you need like quickness, strength, and agility comes during the preseason.

The girls lacrosse team will continue their preseason workouts through the winter until tryouts in the spring.
