First Devastating Loss
To begin the basketball season, FHC is hosting a JV boys basketball tournament. Including schools such as Timberland, Vianney, Pattonville, Liberty, and many others; FHC started against Liberty. Despite being down 17 points in the first half, FHC was up 1 point by the last 10 seconds, when Liberty got a final layup. The crowd was roaring with defeat.
Coach Williams wasn’t happy with the loss, but he wasn’t disappointed. “We really did do great. We will win (at out next game),” Williams said, “We’re just not used to winning yet.”
The Boys will continue to build their strength at the upcoming games. The team is hoping to win at FZS on December 17th at 5:30.
