Spartan’s Bitter Start
Nervous players scrambled as the scoreboard clock counted down. The Spartans faced the Francis Howell North Knights Dec. 9th at 5pm. The Knights defeated the Spartans with a score of 43-25. Although the team lost, freshman Brayden Rubel, believed the team did well for their first game and made a note on what they could improve.
“We played defense pretty good but our offense was a little slow,” Rubel stated. “I didn’t really have that down.”
The team’s next game will be on Monday Jan. 27th.
