Loss Won’t Stop the Spartans
The Girls JV volleyball team played Timberland High School on Sept. 20. The team was fighting hard to win the third game, which would determine the victor. They ended up losing the game with a total set score of 1-2 against Timberland. Sophomore Cassie Durbin reminisces about the tough loss.
“I remember it was just a hard fought battle between both teams,” Durbin said. Our team tried really hard to keep our spirits up and continue to keep playing. It was a frustrating loss but overall I’m proud about how we played and how we handled it.”
The JV girls are going head-to-head against Francis Howell North in their next matchup on Oct. 4.
