Another Win For the Books
The girl’s varsity team won all 3 sets of their game against Fort Zumwalt South on Thursday, Oct. 6th. Even though the girls’ win was impressive, it was not necessarily an easy one. Coach Gronek comments on the team’s perseverance.
“We were very confident going into the game. Zumwalt South played really well, they pushed us way more than what we have anticipated,” says Gronek. “But the girls did a good job of adjusting and fighting back and fighting through some difficulties that we faced”.
Last Tuesday, Oct. 11th, the team celebrated their senior night as well as their last home game against Form Zumwalt. Looking forward, the girls are continuing to work hard in hopes of qualifying for districts.
