Gears are turning within the brains of the students in Mrs. Melissa Broadfield’s chemistry class. From everyday classwork to labs, students such as senior Abby O’Brien embark on a journey to learn. Recently, displayed in a lab about density and how different materials vary in density to a lab learning how to bend glass.
“She [Broadfield] tries to make everything exciting” further stating, “the most interesting thing [I’ve] learned was how to bend glass.” O’Brien stated.
As the year continues, students will expand their knowledge of chemistry as ideas such as density and sig figs become easier, allowing for more complex concepts to come and go.
