Sophia Allen is a staff photographer for her second year on FHC publications. Along with being a photographer, she is an active member in NHS, HOSA, and the Sensations Dance Team. Some of her interests include biology, animals, art, and travel.

No matter where she is, junior Kennedy Rodgers is always dancing. Whether it be in a gym, competition floor, or simply her kitchen Rodgers expresses herself best whilst dancing. The ability to express oneself in a euphoric manner is what attracted Kennedy to dance originally. “I always say it’s euphoric because I feel like it's something that I don't get to feel anywhere else, and it goes by so fast when you perform, but at the same time, I feel like I'm feeling everything” Rodgers said. “You get to portray something that you might not have been able to do just by words.”

A Final Dissection

Digging in, this entire group leaned in to get a view of the current dissection situation.

Senior Olivia Creighton helps fellow classmate Katie Garrett put on her safety glasses to be prepared for scalpel use.

Disgusted, Maya Radelle holds her cat from a distance.

Helping more students, Reed guides this group as they continue in the dissection.

Part of the dissection included taking photos of different parts of the cat to help create a handmade study guide. Here, Maya Radelle and partner Audrey Webb work together.

In attempt to remove the cat from it’s bag the formaldehyde juices splashed sophomore Briana Lewis.

Surprise appearance was made by Mrs. Dena Dauve who is seen observing her daughter's group.

Mr. Reed shows one of the dissection groups how to tie their cat down.

Observing from a distance, senior Sam Hantack watches as a different group begins to cut into their cat.

With the class gathered around, Mr. Reed displays the “Greatest Omentum” from the largest cat in the room.

In reaction to a cat’s severe amount of fat Mrs. Dauve stands in awe.

Mr. Reed making a silly face is helping get around one cat’s immense amount of fat.

Scrutinizing further, a group remains to see the cat without its Omentum.
