The varsity football team went against the Fort Zumwalt Jaguars on Oct. 6. It was a tough game for the Spartans with really good hand-offs and throws, yet the Spartans came short of the victory. The score was 14-27 . Simeon Smith goes on to talk about how these losses make the team better as a whole.
“I think we all come back because we all have the desire to keep improving for the team as a whole” Smith continues “all the coaches no matter how hard or tough anything goes there are always ready to help and improve the team no matter how hard it is,” Simeon Smith said.
The varsity football players take on Rock Bridge this Friday at 7 p.m. in Columbia.
