With 13 years of teaching under her belt, visual arts teacher Ms. Megan Clayton, is bound to have had many different experiences, both good and bad. But through all of these experiences, one recurring happening shines brighter than the rest. Out of all the aspects of teaching, Clayton sights her favorite as being watching students grow and improve in their artistic ability and confidence.
“[My favorite part of teaching visual arts] is probably seeing a student improve.” Clayton said, “And then seeing them realize their growth is always really exciting.”
To Clayton, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student recognize their own growth, as well as growing in their confidence of their artistic prowess.
