At this year’s blood drive that was directed on Nov. 9 by the Health Occupations Students of America, better known as HOSA, many students and staff donated pints of blood to Impact Life. Junior Grace Brimm became eligible to donate her blood for the first time this year.
“I signed up to do it because I’m in HOSA,” Brimm said, “And so it’s just something that a lot of us just decided to do as a club, so I signed up to donate and to work.”
All of the people who donated and all of the volunteers helped HOSA reach beyond their goal of 54 pints and they were able to collect 63 pints for Impact Life.
