Sra. Crain works on editing information for the 2025 Ecuador trip. She prepares to persuade her classes to learn more about the trip. Dec 7th.
The World Language department is full of beloved teachers who strive to share a multitude of cultures, the benefits of learning a new language, and encourage students to travel around the world to get a full experience outside of the language class they’re taking. Caitlyn Crain, a Spanish teacher of nine years, excitedly presents a summer trip to Ecuador in 2025 to her Spanish students.
“It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life,” Sra. Crain explains as she reminisces on the same trip years prior. “We saw the equator which was really cool … and we got to canoe down the Amazon River. When we left, everyone was crying because nobody wanted to leave.”
Not only did her trip to Ecuador leave an impact, Sra. Crain has been all over the world, even studying abroad in Costa Rica before becoming a teacher. Her experiences around the world deeply influenced her career choice, and she strives to share the same experiences with her students.
