The varsity boys volleyball team has improved their record to 4-2 so far for this season. They reached this record following an at home win on Tuesday when they played against the Pioneers of Kirkwood High School and won two sets to none.
The team has been 3-0 since starting the season 1-2, with victories over Duchesne High School and Fort Zumwalt South. Senior hitter Shane Kozlowski attributes this recent success too increased chemistry amongst the teammates.
“Our new setter [Jordan Alsobrook] has become more comfortable in his position as the season has continued,” said Kozlowski. “He has come a long way since the beginning of the season.”
The team hopes to continue to build on it’s three game winning streak along with improving team chemistry as they travel to Francis Howell North to take on it’s rivals at 6 p.m. tonight.
