A Pitch Towards Progress

Sophomore Lila Johnson and freshman Lilly Call lead the team in a pregame huddle. Before their last JV game of the season on Oct. 13th, the team creates a plan for the game.

On Oct. 13th JV Softball played in their last match of the year against Seckmann. Starting off the game, the team had an energetic and hopeful attitude towards the game. This was partially caused by the team’s pregame ritual. Freshman Lilly Call explains how the moments before the game help the team by keeping them calm and prepared.

 

“Usually, we’ll try and get each other hyped up, and we do a team prayer before the game starts,” Call said.

 

For their last game of the season, they lost 9-2.
