A team is nothing without bonding, collaboration, and respect for each other. Throughout the game on Dec. 15 against Liberty High School, boys c-team basketball put up a fight to earn their victory of 42-30. Initially, the FHC team was losing by a significant amount, but they were able to make a comeback that saved their game. Their coach, Kade Cissell, spoke firmly to them about how to ensure their win, and freshman Nolan Parmeley made sure to carry out these instructions as the team captain.
Parmeley gives explanation as to why he enjoys having a leadership position on the team and how well the boys c-team collaborates.
“I like how we’re really a team,” Parmeley said. “Our chemistry is good, we put our work in at practice, and our energy [together] is overall good.”
Next time the c-team boys compete, they will be at FHC at 10:30 against Marquette High School on Jan. 3.
