As the season for basketball is coming toward the end, they start to play in more tournaments that include the Washington High School tournament. In the first round, the FHC Spartans played the Saint Louis Priory School, winning with a score of 77-56. The Spartans went on to win the whole championship. This being his last Washington tournament, Xavier Morrison comments on what it’s like to start the tournament with a dominant lead. Â
“Having such a [big] head start is a good feeling.” Morrison said “Just knowing how the games went after that it felt good”Â
The Spartans went on to win all the other games against who they played at the tournament.Â
