During another late night meet for the Francis Howell Central girls swim team against Timberland high school on Feb. 6, each girl focuses on improving their times from their last meet. Junior Vika Anderson was especially proud of her team’s efforts that ended in a win for them against their opponents.
“We really kept our rhythm and savored our energy throughout the meet,” said Anderson. “Especially with the medley relay… we paced ourselves pretty well and it improved our times a lot.”
With five swimmers swimming at state and six alternates, the girls swim team will wrap up its season on Feb. 19-20 at the St. Peter’s Rex Plex with their State swim meet against various other schools from around Missouri.
