Samantha Castille is a Junior and serves as a staff photographer for FHC Publication. This is her second year on staff. Other than publications she is involved in mac scholars, NHS, and A+ for the school. Outside of school, she fills her time with books and a job at Crooked Chicken.

Indie folk music, sometimes referred to as granola, is characterized by soft, acoustic melodies combined with contemporary instrumentals. Popular artists include The Lumineers, Vance Joy, and Mumford and Sons. The genre was created in the 90s as a hybrid of indie rock and folk music; however, it has recently soared in popularity as young adults embrace unique aesthetics. Many listeners enjoy the light, free mood that comes with the genre. Warm sunlight hits MaryGrace Cummings as she lays in a bed of flowers, embracing the indie folk aesthetic.
