Girls Swim and Dive Prepares for the Season
As winter sports start up, the Girl’s Swim and Dive team is working hard to prepare for their upcoming meets. They have had practice every day of the week and over Thanksgiving break to ensure they stay in shape. The team works hard to better themselves but also help one another.
Being new to the team, Freshman Xime Avila has a fresh view on the team. “I love the community of the swim team, the late practices are very difficult but with everyone together we keep each other motivated” Avila says.
The meets approaching are getting the girls excited to get into the water and put all of their hard work to use. The first meet is a tri-meet between FZW, FHC, and Liberty on Dec. 9 at the Rec Plex.
