The first thing you notice whenever you step into Ms. Sheri Baize’s room when she’s teaching is that one voice sticks out, and floats above all the rest. A bright voice, filled with laughter and comfort, welcoming everyone who steps foot into her classroom. It’s Ms. Baize, obviously, the Speech & Debate extraordinaire, who also happens to teach English II.
“I do my very best to set a positive tone in my classroom; I want my students to feel welcome and cared for upon entering my classroom,” Baize said about her passion for teaching. “[Also,] I’ve been told I give a great hug.”
If anything is wrong, she’ll know, and she’ll do her best to make sure you feel better. Out of everything crazy going on in her room, one thing is for certain. You’ll feel at home.
