During the game on April 9, Maddie Debro threw the ball from the sideline. All of the teammates got ready to receive it and start the game up again.
On April 9 the girls varsity soccer team had a game against Francis Howell. The game was filled with desperation because this is a big competition for them. All of the team worked together and checked in with the coach a lot. The team took a loss of 2-0 but the team expressed this will be a game to learn from. Junior Maddie Debro and her team have goals about what they want for this season.
“I honestly think our goal is to have fun and really connect with each other and just get wins, but if we don’t, do not worry about it too much,” Debro said.
The next girls varsity soccer game will be on April 20 at Francis Howell Central against St. Dominic.
