Hard Fight with a Close Loss
Junior Amanda Johnson finishes her lap strong, making her team proud. Amanda and her teammates were competing against the Fort Zumwalt East Lions on Tuesday Jan. 21 at the St. Peters Rec Plex. Although the girls lost overall to FZE, they all thoroughly enjoy the competition and the team bonding.
Amanda Johnson says, “My teammates are a big part of the reason why I love the sport so much. They make me want to do better, encourage me to try my best, and make the sport so worth it”.
Only a few more matches until our girls swimming has their very own senior night. Each swimmer is swimming like it’s their last. Our seniors know to cherish these moments as they make their way closer to graduation.
