End of the Swim and Dive Season
The Girls Swim and Dive team finished the season on Feb 22. at the state swim meet. Through a long and grueling season the team stuck together through the hardest meets including GACs. Leading up to 4 state qualifiers in the 200 Medley Relay and Xime Avila swimming the 500 and breaking her own school record by 10 seconds in the state meet.
“Knowing how hard I’d worked all season to get there really made a difference” Avila said about her experience at the state meet.
The whole season of training built up to this meet and the qualifiers trained extensively to reach their goals.
