The boys varsity soccer team lost to Francis Howell North 2-1 on Sept. 12th. During the first quarter of the game, the Spartans started off slow, but then sophomore Sean Castaneda scored the last goal of the game.
“When I see my other teammates not doing too well, it makes me want to try and help them out,” Castaneda said tries to use motivation and good mindset to help him score goals throughout the game.
The varsity boys soccer team has started off strong, they won their very first game and they are eager to win more. The Spartans current season record is (3-7). Their next game is Oct. 2 and it is against St. Dominic highschool, and it is going to be at St. Dominic highschool.
