Slicing into the Future

As seniors are preparing for their lives out of high school they meet with all their lasts, their last practice, their last game, and their last day. On Sept. 19 the senior tennis players walked onto the FHC tennis courts for what should be their last time. They are  met with all their good sentimental memories from their first match they won to the friendships made on the courts senior Kate Baranowski was met with all those bitter sweet moments from her past three years.

“It was a really sentimental moment, knowing that I would never play on these courts that I’ve known and played on for the last three years,” Baranowski said. “Walking down those stairs, it was bittersweet because it was a sad thing to be ending my high school season but a happy thing to be celebrating all that I’ve accomplished.”

This moment for every senior meant so much to them and brought  the perfect ending  to their senior season of 2023.
