The girls varsity golf team lost 205-180 against Liberty on tuesday Sept. 26. Senior

Adrienne Emrick played in the game and she shot a 44.

 Emrick said “my teammates really inspire me, and my dad, he is very experienced at golf”

Emrick’s dad has helped her learn how to be a better golfer and he has shown her how to be more passionate about golf.

The next game for the Spartans will be a district tournament on october 19th.

Aadit Mehta swims breaststroke during his individual event, taking long breaths in between each stroke. For breaststroke, the swimmers keep their chest and torso from moving in order to move quicker.

During the game at Francis Howell, sophomore Jackson Chartrand tackles the opposing team. Chartrand was able to stop the play and prevent the opposing team from gaining more yardage.

Senior Olivia Tran strains to hand fight her opponent and ultimately get her in a position that makes it to where Tran can take a shot. To take a shot means to get your opponent on the mat and prevent them from getting back up in the hopes to win by pinning them down.
