In an unusual and unexpected turn of events, the C-team boys soccer game against the Timberland Wolves on Sept. 19 ended abruptly due to a medical emergency of one of the referees. But before the game got canceled, the Spartans were up with one goal and fighting to keep their lead. Freshman Kenneth Lu discusses what is needed as a team when going up against another good team.
“Probably like communication and like getting to know each other. And when we play, it’s very important that we have chemistry and that we’re all friends,” Lu said.
The team looks forward to working hard together and going for the win the next time they play on Oct. 10 against Fort Zumwalt West.
