On Nov. 26, the hockey team ended in a 1-0 loss against Fort Zumalt West Jaguars. With time running out on the clock, the Jags punched it in during the 3rd quarter to seal the game. The thing captain Tyler VonFeldt took away from the loss is that he has to pick himself and his teammates up with him.
“To have a short-term memory like a goldfish and forget about previous mistakes,” Vonfeldt said. “What I can do to boost my team after a loss is to just keep the energy high and not let others get down on themselves after a bad play or a bad game.”
The Spartans take on rival Francis Howell High School on Dec.15 at the St. Peters rink.
