Administration prepares for end-of-course exams

The school administration has set out the proposed End of Course (EOC) testing schedule for this spring. The day will consist of four blocks, block one, two and four will be an hour and a half long. The third block will be two hours and ten minutes with four lunch shifts. Each lunch will be thirty-five minutes long.

Block scheduling will be Monday through Thursday for the weeks of April 16 and 23. Fridays will be normal seven-hour day. On Tuesday, fourth block will be a 90-minute home room and on Wednesday school will continue to have a shorten day with a fourth block of homeroom 45 minutes long.

“We will be getting the homeroom activities out within the next few weeks,” said Principal Dr. Sonny Arnel. “I try to get the information out to the teachers ahead of time to make sure they know what they are doing.”

The schedule is the same as last year with the only change is that a second week has been added on because this year all EOCs will be on the computer.
