To wrap up the final Girls in Stem meeting of the year, the members celebrated with a potluck on May 14. The meeting consisted of food, friends, and lots of laughter. The members wrapped the meeting up with fun activities and are excited to continue science next year. Ready to continue learning and doing experiments, Ms. Moore commented on the importance of girls today learning more about science.
“I like that science drives the world,” Moore said, “I think we forget that it does, but everything is science, including us as humans!”
The last meeting for the Girls in Stem has ended but watch for next year to join the club.
