The boys varsity soccer team sought out the championship for the Fort Zumwalt Classic. The Spartans defeated the Panthers 2 -1 to earn the plaque. The game was close until the very end when Carter Redford scored the winning goal.

“The team really worked hard and pushed through to the end,” Redford says. “This game was a real moral booster for our upcoming games.”

Central will continue their strong season by playing at home against Kirkwood on Monday, September 16.
