The varsity girls basketball team pulls yet another win at their last game against the #1 ranked STL Large school, Webster Groves, the lady Spartans won the game 50-48. Sophomore Bri Mason explains how the game went and what the team did to pull the win.
“It was a night filled with high, positive energy from the beginning and it stayed that way the whole game,” Mason said. “After going into overtime against a very skilled team, it was all about playing together and not letting our high energy-filled game fade which is something we did very well and it resulted in the hard fought win over Webster Groves.”
Mason also speaks on how her team is preparing for their next game and what they are looking forward to most.
“With little time to prepare for tonight’s game we are working on coming out ready, playing good and efficient defense then transferring that to the offensive side of the floor. We are looking forward to play a good, full game then hopefully come out on top,” Mason said.
