Face-off Ferocity
The Varsity Ice Hockey team faced off against the Fort Zumwalt East Lions on Saturday, Dec. 17th. The Spartans began the game with the lead, but the score was tied up by the second period. Ultimately, the Spartans scored the final, winning goal in the third period.With a final score of 6-5, Junior Aiden Lee recounts the intensity of the game.
“I was taking a face-off against my opponent and was focused,” Lee states. “It was a tight game, and us boys wanted the win.”
The hockey team’s focus and intensity has paid off with their victory. Their next game is Saturday, Jan. 21st at the Centene Community Ice Center against Chaminade College Preparatory School.
