Even with a tough loss, the girls’ varsity softball team continues to communicate and stick together to motivate each other throughout each game. Although the game on Sept. 19 against the Howell Vikings left a rough taste in their mouths, their overall loss of 11-1 gives them a reason to persevere. Senior Sarah Hoshaw addresses how even through losses, her team supports and keeps her motivated.
“Just trying to work with all my teammates like making sure I’m doing my job and looking at one another from left to right,” Hoshaw explained. “You know, I’m doing the best I can throughout each game.”
Despite the loss, the girls continue to stay motivated and prepare each other for each game. The team is looking forward to their next home game against Fort Zumwalt East on Oct. 4.
