After going into double overtime and taking countless penalty kicks, the boys varsity soccer team won their game against Howell on Oct. 12. Freshman Louis Troha participated in taking a penalty kick during overtime and continued to score the point. Being asked if he was confident of the win from the start of the game, he stated that he has to be.
“Of course I’m gonna think that we’re going to win,” Troha said. “I can’t go into the game thinking we’re gonna lose”.
With constant perseverance, the positive mindsets and the hard work finally paid off. Bringing home a win, the boys persist with pushing themselves. After a difficult season, the win really helped them stay motivated, looking forward to next year.
