Detention is now open and available for students to serve their detentions.

Detentions are every morning at 6:30-7:15.

You may also serve detentions everyday at 2:30 – you must report to the cafeteria on time. Or, you may serve detentions on Saturday from 9:00 – noon.

 

Do you enjoy trivia games like Jeopardy? If so, Scholar Quiz Bowl is for you! Please join us on Tuesday, Oct 18 at 3:30 pm in room 96. Snacks will be provided! If you cannot attend the meeting, please see Ms. King in room 96. (10/18)

St. Louis University will be hosting a National College Fair on Sunday, 10/16/11 from Noon – 3:00 PM. Visit www.nationalcollegefairs.org for more information. (10/14)

 

Seniors, your senior superlatives sheet is due to Mr. Schott on Wednesday at the end of the day TODAY. This is your only chance to get this turned in! Drop them off at Room 139 before you leave for Fall Break. (10/5)

Don’t forget to order your Salute to Military shirts. We will be taking pre-orders at lunch Monday-Wednesday or you can contact Jeremy Rohrbach in room 109. The cost is 10 dollars and the proceeds will benefit the men and women of our Armed Forces. We will have a few great events happening on the 21st in correspondence with Breast Cancer Awareness Night and Faculty Appreciation Night. Mr. and Mrs. Vinnedge will conduct the coin toss and we will have a Toys for Tots campaign. We want every staff member to be a part of this great night. (10/5)

 

Attention any Junior or Senior interested in nursing with a cumulative 2.75 GPA can apply for a spot to shadow a nurse at Chamberlain College of Nursing. Dates available are November 2, 2011, Jan 25, March 7, and May 2, 2012. See Mrs. Breuer in guidance for the application.

 

The ARETE fall breakfast is fast approaching. Pillar forms are due October 4th. You are only required to complete one pillar form this academic school year to be invited to the breakfast and field day. Please return completed forms to room 2. Clubs

FCCLA will be selling Lee Denim Day t-shirts at lunch and out of room 157 on Oct. 3-5. FHC will then show support by wearing the shirts on Oct. 5. Shirts will be $10 dollars and all proceeds will benefit breast cancer research. More information will be coming soon! (10/5)

On Tuesdays and Thursdays from now until basketball season begins in November we will be having open gym. Come on out and hoop-it-up this fall, everyone is invited.

Anyone interested in joining the ultimate Frisbee team should see coach Becker about attending Monday pickup games throughout the fall.
