Detention is now open and available for students to serve their detentions.

Detentions are every morning at 6:30-7:15.

You may also serve detentions everyday at 2:30 – you must report to the cafeteria on time. Or, you may serve detentions on Saturday from 9:00 – noon.

 

Spartan Swimmers improved their season record to 14-1 with a defeat over the bulldogs of Zumwalt South. Swimming to first place finishes were sophomore Lewis Hussey in the 100 back and the state qualifying relay of Zach Rogers, Derek Mielke, Andrew smith, and Ryan Macy! Great job to all Spartan Swimmers! Come watch the last duel meet of the season next Wednesday against zumwalt west as they try to finish an awesome season with a 15-1 record on Senior Night

 

Any student without a 1st hour class should pick up their report card from the guidance office. (10/25)

 

Attention all NHS members:

Our next general meeting will take place on Tues, Oct 25th, at 6:55 am in Mrs. Rulo’s room, room 203, and at 2:30 pm in Mrs. MacMillan’s room, room 205. See you there! (10/25)

 

Any student interested in playing Boys Basketball: there will be a short meeting on Thursday, 10/20 at 7:00 AM in Mr. Cissell’s room ..146. (10/20)

Friday night we will be honoring our military by hosting a toys for tots drive at the football game. We will have Julie Vinnedge, mother of Phillip Vinnidge, who died while serving our country last year, to conduct the ceremonial coin toss. We will also have members of our Armed Forces at the game to help with the toy drive. This will be a great event for the family so please join us as our Spartans take on Pattonville.

 

We also have a limited number of a Salute to the Military shirts available for purchase, the cost is ten dollars and the benefits will be given to the Midewest Marines Foundation. Please email Jeremy Rohrbach at [email protected] to place your order. (10/21)

 

Any students planning on trying out for the wrestling team should pick up paperwork from Coach Cross in room 102. You must have a current physical, parent permission form and impact testing waiver completed to participate. Please have all paperwork completed and turned in to Coach Cross by Thursday October 28th. Practice begins Monday, October 31st at 2:45 in the wrestling room. (10/31)

 

Attention any Junior or Senior interested in nursing with a cumulative 2.75 GPA can apply for a spot to shadow a nurse at Chamberlain College of Nursing. Dates available are November 2, 2011, Jan 25, March 7, and May 2, 2012. See Mrs. Breuer in guidance for the application. (11/2)

 

Students, we will be hosting a student forum on bullying at FHC, if you would like to be a part of the planning committee, join us in room 109 on October 20th at 6:45 or 2:30.
