Claire Sanders preparing to hit her game point serve over the net
Varsity tennis traveled two hours away to take on Helias. Varsity doubles teammates Bethany List and Kate Baranowski take on the No. 2 varsity doubles team. They won with a score of 8-5. Though the score may justify the winner the game was not one to miss. With many risky shots and risky calls, List talked about how those risks she took helped lead her to a very well-deserved and fought for victory .
“It’s important to take risks during the game,” List said. “Because taking risks is what can make a good match and lead to more points. Of course there will be moments where you might fall short, but taking risks can lead to ultimate improvement.”
This was the varsity tennis girls last regular season match of the fall season.
