Climbing the ladder

On Oct. 9, the freshman football team went on to play the Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars. The freshmen had many good runs and plays. They fell short by one touchdown and ended the game with a score of 16-8. Ezra Smith talked about how this team has pushed him so much and how it feels to finally be a part of the FHC football family.

“What really pushed  me to keep going was my teammates because I never wanted to let them down and I wanted to prove to the coaches and my parents I could live up to my older brothers abilities,” Smith said. “ This year has been amazing in general because of my teammates and the coaches”

The freshman football season has come to an end but make sure to come cheer the varsity football team on at this Friday’s game against Rock Bridge.
