To step up the spirit for Halloween, NAHS held a festive Halloween party on Oct. 30. To incorporate the art aspect, a pumpkin making contest was established and the winner of the best pumpkin decorating received a prize. Junior Adam Doria, NAHS member, was excited to participate in this activity, hoping to win the prize full of goodies.
Even with his crazed schedule due to soccer, he was still searching for another extracurricular activity to participate in. When he was “…approached by a senior who just graduated this past year, she told [him] about NAHS, it was the perfect opportunity to get involved in another extracurricular outside of soccer.”
Although he did not win the pumpkin decorating contest, he is still looking forward to the next NAHS meeting.
